My Woven Woolens collection includes classic handwoven
fashion and home accessories using the finest quality fibers. Soft wools, natural fibers, and specialty yarns are
combined to create a rich but subtle blending of texture and color.
My first
introduction to weaving was at the University of Alaska following numberous work shops two of which were with( the late) Master
weaver, Peter Collingwood of England, and renoun tapestry weaver, Jean Pierre Larochette. I gained my weaving experience
over 25 years ago while studying the craft at the Nelson Polytechnic School of Weaving in New Zealand where I earned a degree
in weaving. After traveling to some of the Polynesian Islands, I returned back to the United States. Many of my
weavings have been exhibited through the United States and over Seas.
Special
attention and care are given to each weaving. The pieces are hand finished, and carefully inspected before shipping
which assures you the finest quality possible.
So why not treat yourself or
a friend to the elegance of a beautiful, functional handwoven creation!
